Grullo colt that will be a BIG boy!  Look at that bone in his legs...

Sire's Pedigree    Dam's Pedigree   Dam's Web Page     Color Pedigree

This is a nice and tall colt with a short head and a little ear.  He has a nice "V" in his chest already, and will have a big forearm and a short head.  Big has grown and grown this winter, and needs a home that knows how to feed to maximize his potential.  I believe he could be a successful halter prospect in IBHA/ABRA, and could earn some AQHA points as well.  Down the road, he could make a western pleasure or roping prospect for someone.

He will be big and tall, so if you like them short, I don't think Big is for you.

Big's dam is now on her way to England (to arrive in mid-February), so this will be the only one bred like him in the US.  He'll have a full brother or sister in the UK in the spring of 2005.

Born 4/1/2004

Sire:  Macriffik, a homozygous black stallion with multiple futurity-winning offspring.

Dam:  Ima Golden Cherokee, grullo with probable creme gene

This filly's dam had a half brother sell as a 4 y/o gelding for $17,500 at auction.  See her web page for details.

Both his sire and dam have good heads with small ears.

This colt's sire is 16 hh, and his dam is 15.2 hh.  He will be a big and powerful one, if that's what you're looking for.

Could be homozygous for black.  Click here to see the statistics on this.

West Nile and 4-way shots given twice: 8/12/04, 9/7/2004.

Started weaning on 8/15/04.

Last dewormed 1/1/2005 with Ivermectin orally.

1/12/2005 Big has a small hernia that is large enough for one fingertip, but not two.  Vets have always told me that this size will go away on its own, but I want to be up front so you know it's there, regardless.

See www.grullablue.com/sale.htm for sales information on this colt.
