The Dream

Several years of being a professional farrier have guided me to my program's goals, along with a good eye for horses and the ability to hand-pick ones that fit my ideals.  Our program was built from the ground up:  hooves and legs before eye appeal, and all that before papers.  The foundation of our program in the early 1990's has led us to where we are now:  the finished product.

We produce horses with sound structure, eye appeal, and top it off with a unique color to turn people's heads toward YOU.  Whether you are planning to show in an arena, work in the great outdoors, or ride down a steep and rocky trail, we plan to create a horse that will give you the ride-of-a-lifetime that is colored to make all heads turn and watch your ride-of-a-lifetime.

Our ideal horse possesses characteristics such as the following:

bullet

Soundness...our number one concern with conformation overall.  An unsound horse doesn't do anyone any good!

bullet

A good head and neck (but not an incredibly or overly long neck)

bullet

A back that isn't too short

bullet

A strong hip and gaskin

bullet

Dense bone of good size

bullet

Angle to the hock (not post-legged)

bullet

Good-sized, strong feet

bullet

A pedigree that warrants the investment of time and money you put into your horses.

There's a reason why the American Quarter Horse is so versatile, and that's because there's a style for everyone.  Your idea of the perfect Quarter Horse may or may not be similar to ours, and that's ok!

Our goal is to produce a working-horse conformation with eye appeal, and a pedigree that makes you want to invest in a horse.

We hope you do like our preferences, and when it comes time for you to shop for your dream horse we hope you'll stop by and see our dreams-come-true!

Toni
