Magic is a full sister to a point-earning performer, and her sire has produced NRHA and NCHA money earners.

Magic had a bad wound to a forearm, and probably would not have been able to be a performance horse due to this muscle damage.  It does not inhibit her movement that we can see, but I imagine that is why she is not a riding horse (she was probably injured prior to 2 years old, and so wasn't considered a riding prospect). If we needed a riding horse, I wouldn't hesitate at all to break her to ride and use her. She is sound, and just has the blemish left.

bulletUltrasounded in foal to Mainly Merlin, a silver grullo stallion, for 2008. Merlin has been a 100% color producer in his first two foal crops. If he is homozygous for dun factor, Magic's foal has a 75% chance of being grullo and 25% of being red dun.
bulletThis is a nice mare with good legs and a pretty head. 
bulletAfter her 2006 foal, she didn't like to be on the opposite side of a fence from her foal for breeding and we thought she was going to be hard to work with. But she handled great for breeding with her 2007 foal at side, so evidently is was just a "first foal protectiveness" situation. She has been live covered, AI'd, ultrasounded...she's a good mare to handle no matter what.
bulletNFQHA registered at 91%, but we haven't transferred for that association. If we sell her, I'll sign a transfer for it but we are not planning to spend the $ to transfer her ourselves since we won't show her.
